Green Drinks is happening on Bainbridge Island! It's an informal, free, open,agenda-free social gathering that occurs (almost) monthly, for people interested in and working to preserve, protect, and restore our precious environment and community sustainability - business people, professionals, educators, students (of age), policy-makers, citizen activists, et al. Bring friends, meet new people, and mingle with old friends and colleagues...without an agenda, presentations, or speeches! Join us on Facebook.
THURSDAY, Sept 19, 6:00 - 8:00
Grounds for Change
15773 George Lane NE, Ste 204 (in the Agate Pass Business Park)
Grounds for Change owners Kelsey and Stacy Marshall will welcome us to their coffee roasting plant and share their inspiring story about the difference their business is making in the world of environmental sustainability and social equity - locally and globally. Their coffee is organic, shade-grown and fair trade, and they are the first third-party certified carbon free coffee company in the U.S.!
As usual, we'll feature locally-made wine at the no-host bar - Victor Alexander - and we will be treated to delectable appetizers and dessert prepared by The Food Shed in Kingston.
