Trashion Show


Bainbridge Island Zero Waste presents the fourth annual Trashion Show.

There are TWO shows this year!

When: Sunday, April, 14, 2019
Time: 2:00-3:00pm (nonjuried) and 4:00-6:00pm (juried)     
          Doors open at 1:30pm for 2pm show; 3:30 for 4pm show.
Where: IslandWood 
What: A fashion show celebrating creative ideas for reuse, recycling, and waste reduction.

Cost: Non-juried show (2pm) -$10 per person or $20/family
         Juried show (4pm) - $15 per person

Organized by chair Naomi Spinak, the main event features three juried categories:
1) Ready-to-Wear -- Upcycled apparel made from used textiles
2) Trashion Couture -- Recycled outfits composed of items that are normally recycled or thrown away
3) *NEW* Business Waste Challenge -- A designer is paired with a participating business and creates a garment made from the business' discard.

All submissions are created by area residents.
