Trashion Show


Bainbridge Island Zero Waste presents the third annual Trashion Show.

When: Sunday, April, 29, 2018, from 2-4pm. Doors open at 1pm.
Where: IslandWood 
What: A fashion show celebrating creative ideas for reuse, recycling, and waste reduction.
Cost: Tickets are $15 general public and $10 for seniors and children under 18.Organized by co-chairs Lousana Campagna and Patricia Intihar, the main event features two juried acts: one that showcases upcycled apparel made from used textiles, the other that celebrates recycled outfits composed of items that are normally recycled or thrown away.  All submissions are created by area residents.

Preshow attractions include... 
> SPECIAL LIVE EXHIBITION featuring repurposed costumes designed by BI Trashion Show founder Naomi Spinak for the Bainbridge Performing Arts production of Peter and the Starcatcher
> Upcycled shoe display by Sakai Intemediate School students 
> Reuse craft activity
