DESCRIPTION:The free holly handout has been set! Join Weed Warriors volunteers on Friday\, November 29. at 1pm across from Rotary Park on Weaver Road to bundle holly for an hour or so. You can even help yourself to a bundle if you help! Park at the lower ballfields parking lot (see sign below) on Weaver Avenue NW. The holly bundling will be right across the street. Contact Jeannette Franks if you have questions: 206-755-8461 or jfranks1@comcast.net. \n Holly bundles will be handed out at T&C the next day\, Saturday. November 30\, at 1pm\, as long as supplies last and will include a tag explaining why holly is bad\, what to plant instead\, and how to dispose of it (seeds go in trash). \nWeed Warriors work on forest restoration. Healthy forests sequester more carbon and are more fire resistant.
