Zero Waste is starting a fundraiser by collecting used sneakers, with plans to run through at least July 2023.
You can turn in pairs of sneakers in good to fair condition to the bin or box labeled with the sign above at any of these Bainbridge establishments:

Our fundraising partner, GotSneakers, estimates that 10% of the shoes collected stay domestic and are resold to the thrift community. Eighty percent of the footwear is shipped to global wholesale partners in Latin America, the Caribbean and the Middle East. And the remaining 10% is deemed unusable and is recycled. We are requesting shoes that fall into the first two categories. Thank you!
