Go to Kitsap County’s page listing county fix-it fairs for June-October 2025.

The next Bainbridge Island Fix-it Fair is TBD.

At this free community event, skilled volunteers will help diagnose and try to fix your broken household items. Bring up to two items. Items may include

  • clothing
  • small appliances
  • lamps
  • vacuums
  • jewelry
  • small electronics
  • bikes (minor repairs)
  • small welding jobs

Make sure items are clean. Please bring any relevant manuals or parts. Fix-it consultations are available on a first-come, first-served basis. All participants must check in at the welcome table by 1:30pm and be present during repairs. While our volunteer fixers will do their best, successful repairs cannot be guaranteed. Fixers will attempt repairs on one item at a time. If there’s time, you can join the line again with your second item.

The Fix-it Fair welcomes both participants and volunteers. While the BI event is at capacity for volunteers, if you have repair skills to share or wish to support this county initiative at later fairs, consider registering as a volunteer here to join Kitsap County’s team of volunteer fixers or event helpers.

This collaborative initiative between Kitsap County Solid Waste, Sustainable Bainbridge, and BARN, with support from the Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island, promotes sustainability, waste reduction, and community skill-sharing while helping participants extend the life of their belongings.
