Waterfront Park at the public dock
Please join the Bainbridge Island Watershed Council, EcoAdapt, Hyla High School, the City of Bainbridge Island (COBI) and Washington State Ferries (WSF) staff for a king tide walk and talk along downtown Bainbridge’s shoreline. We will meet at 7:45 at Waterfront Park near the public dock, walk the waterfront trail across to the ferry maintenance area and across Waypoint trail to end at the shoreline between Eagle Harbor condos and the ferry dock. Along the way, we’ll hear from Hyla students, WSF ferries, COBI and others as we talk about king tides as a preview of the risks of sea level rise, and what we can and should do to prepare and respond to rising tides.
