Imagination and resourcefulness are on display this spring, when 10 artists known for their use of recycled, reused and repurposed materials celebrate Earth Month 2026 in BAC’s exhibition, Tossed & Found, April 3-26. Come open the show with us on Friday, April 3, 6-8pm and toast the artists with a pour of Amelia Wynn wine.

Expect the unexpected, playfulness, pointed comment, and technical mastery in work that helps us look at our everyday world in new and unique ways: Joanne Bohannon’s totemic crows and owls, David Dickhut’s quirky people, Lynn DiNino’s imaginative and hilarious narratives, Denise Harris’ witty small scale masterpieces, Steve Parmelee’s surprising and successful juxtapositions, Loran Scruggs’ tin homages to a world at risk, Kathy Ross’ gorgeously obsessive mosaics, MJ Linford’s terrific Plastic Sea book and Margie McDonald’s non-representational wire and found object sculpture.

Apparel presents another opportunity for reinvention and reuse, as seen in Tyler Andersen’s handbags made from shoes, and wearables by artists from ReFashion Bainbridge 2026.
