Join Read, Roam, Rules for a guided 2-mile walk through Gateway Park as we uncover the real stories behind beaver habitats—where they thrive, where conflicts arise, and what’s being done to support coexistence. We’ll explore wetlands, look at restoration efforts, and discuss the challenges and solutions shaping the future of shared spaces for wildlife and people alike.

Rain or shine, we’ll be out there. Please dress according to the weather.

Walk with us and be a part of the conversation! Your hosts: Kitsap County Community Development Long Range Planning and Environmental Programs in collaboration with Public Works and Great Peninsula Conservancy

Date: October 11, 2025, 5pm-7pm
Meeting Point: Silverdale Rotary Gateway Park, 11601 Silverdale Way NW, Silverdale, WA
Distance: 2-miles
Free & open to all, but please RSVP.
