Volunteer: July 4th Discard Station Ambassador

It’s never too early to pick your slot when Zero Waste represents at the 4^th of July. Requiring 50 volunteers for the day (no experience necessary), we run nine discard stations in an effort to recycle and compost as much as possible. Each station is staffed continuously in 2-hour shifts throughout the Grand Old Fourth celebration downtown. Just get ready to smile and say “cheese”  -- some visitors are so impressed with the set-up that they take a picture to show event organizers back home!
