The next Bainbridge Island Fix-it Fair will be in Q1 2026.
(Go here for the last fix-it fair of 2025 hosted by Kitsap County Solid Waste.)
At any of these free community events, skilled volunteers will help diagnose and try to fix your broken household items. Bring up to two items. Items may include
- clothing
- small appliances
- lamps
- vacuums
- jewelry
- small electronics
- bikes (minor repairs)
- small welding jobs
Make sure items are clean. Please bring any relevant manuals or parts. Fix-it consultations are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You are present during the repair. Please go here to register so our fixers will know what items to expect. While our volunteer fixers will do their best, successful repairs cannot be guaranteed. Fixers will attempt repairs on one item at a time. If there's time (12:30pm is last call), you can join the line again with your second item.
If you have repair skills to share or would like to be an event helper, please contact Heather Dowey.
These fix-it fairs are supported by a grant from the Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island.
Aside from the SB/BARN co-hosted fix-it fairs, BARN's metal fabrication studio hosts a free fix-it the second Saturday of every month. It is hosted by monitors in the welding, sheet metal, and machine shops. Go here for details.
