Though the 2020 Trashion Show fell victim to Covid, some artists did complete their outfits. Bainbridge Arts and Crafts, our partner for three years running, was kind enough to showcase the finished products in their display window. Some of the outfits are upcycled fashion, others from recyclable materials, yet another comprised of items from a Mystery Box.

To read about the various incarnations of the Trashion Show from show coordinator Naomi Spinak, visit Marisa Robba’s blog.

Here’s an article that was recently published to accompany the Salish Magazine‘s 2020 issue on microplastics.  It features some of the outfits from our very first Trashion Show in 2016 at Eagle Harbor Church.

A Kitchen That Works
The Good Egg
Island Cool

For 2019 results, visit the official Trashion Show website and see all the outfits!
