Call to Action
Volunteer at the 4th of July
Thank you! We have filled all our spots! Come down and thank the station ambassadors for keeping resources in circulation (by becoming new products or replenishing soil) instead of everyone's discards having to get buried in a landfill. The island's 4th of July celebration is a low-waste affair, but only because of the 40 volunteers who step up each year to staff the eight Zero Waste discard stations in the Waterfront Park area.
Volunteer with The Rotary Green Team,
an SB Partner
Lots of volunteers, lots of work, lots of fun!: The Rotary Green Team has a role for everyone interested in keeping surplus donations, volunteer meal discards, bathroom paper towels, and donation packaging from ending up in landfill-bound dumpsters. Click the button below to find out more.
