Beach Exploration for Family and Friends

@Rockaway Beach

What to expect when you join us on the beach:

This is a great free, rain or shine family activity, and is open to the public. Look for the naturalists wearing neon green vests. You will likely get your feet wet, so boots are recommended, or shoes that you don't mind getting wet and that protect your feet.  Rockaway Beach is very rocky and uneven, great for tidepools and critters, but can be difficult walking.  A walking stick can be helpful if you might have trouble walking over the rocks.  Please leave your dog at home, they can be disruptive to the critters we are seeing.  Parking at Rockaway is extremely limited.  Please carpool if you can, and park diagonally so we can fit in more cars.  Hope you will join us!
