The City of Bainbridge Island is exploring the use of speed safety cameras because speeding continues to be a serious safety concern in and around schools, crosswalks, and other community areas where people walk and bike every day.
At the request of City Council, City staff are working with consultants to seek feedback from the community regarding a proposal to create an automated traffic safety enforcement camera program.
If you have questions or feedback, please plan to attend this public open house on Wednesday, October 14, 6:30-8pm, at Blakely Elementary School.
