Help keep the trash impact of our Bainbridge signature celebrations low by staffing a discard station on July 4th.
Station ambassadors guide guests as they put their discards into compost, recycling and landfill bins. You’ll have a grabber to re-sort if necessary. (Don’t worry — we train you.) People are grateful for your guidance, and your continuous presence and attention keep the containers contamination-free so we don’t have to send organics to the landfill, where they create a powerful greenhouse gas, methane.
Set-up – 6 persons: 7-9am > Still need 3
Staffing discard stations – 10 persons per shift (*11 persons for the first shift):
9-11am* > still need 4 / 11am-1pm > still need 2/ 1-3pm (parade period) > still need 5/ 3-5pm > still need 5
Take-down – 7 persons: 5-6:30pm > still need 4
