Kitsap County Solid Waste Division and Kitsap Regional Library are hosting a Fix-it Fair in Port Orchard! Fix-it Fairs are free community events where you can get your broken belongings repaired by handy local volunteers, meet your neighbors, and learn some repair skills.

When: August 16, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants must arrive by 1:30 p.m. Those who arrive after 1:30 p.m. will be asked to attend a future event.

Where: Port Orchard Library, 87 Sidney Ave., Port Orchard, WA 98366

Can't make this event? Check out our webpage for other upcoming opportunities and more information.

What broken items can be brought to this event?

Kitsap residents are welcome to bring one or two items per event. Fixers will attempt repairs on one item at a time. If there’s time, you can join the line again with your second item. However, we may limit repairs to one item if the event is busy.

At this event, fixers will attempt to repair:

  • mendable clothing and textiles like tablecloths, curtains, jeans, and more (sorry, no zippers)
  • small household appliances like lamps, vacuums, toasters, and more!

RSVP requested

Let us know what you're bringing so our fixers can prepare. This is not an appointment and is not required. All of our events are first-come, first-served.
