FISH WAR: An 85-minute documentary telling the story of Washington tribes to successfully affirm their treaty fishing rights and establish themselves as co-managers of the resource. Nonetheless, the fate of the Pacific Northwest’s salmon still hangs in the balance.
A community showing is set for Sunday, June 8, at 6:30 pm at the Lynwood Theatre. On hand to provide context will be Ron Charles, former Chairman of the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe for over 20 years; Josh Bagley, current Vice-Chairman of the Suquamish Tribe; and Rep. Greg Nance.
