✅Use a plastic-lined, sturdy box or container to transport your chemicals in.

✅Secure the box in your trunk or truck bed. Make sure the boxes are secured so that they won’t tip over and spill.

Reuse:

The Kitsap County Household Hazardous (HHW) Collection Facility receives many household products still in usable condition. They keep these items from going to waste by placing them in their Reuse Shop. Residents are welcome to visit the Reuse Shop at the Household Hazardous Waste Facility during business hours.

Kitsap County will NOT be holding any more household hazardous waste collections on Bainbridge Island because of the new household hazardous collection facility opening in North Kitsap in spring of 2026.
