Need to get your eyes off your screens? Want a cheap form of entertainment while supporting valued Bainbridge institutions? Then check out the two opportunities below.

The Senior Center is offering books, magazines and puzzles to the public twice a week during the hours of 10am-1pm on Tuesday and 10am-noon on Thursday. You can browse as well as bring by donations of the same.  Magazines (no catalogues, please) should be less than a year old and the most popular puzzles have 500 pieces or fewer. Any donations are quarantined for 48 hours before being made available to the public.

Bainbridge Island Friends of the Library lets you donate or purchase books Monday-Saturday, 10am-1pm, at the children’s entrance on the north side.  There’s no browsing, but if you would like to pick up some books, they sell them by the bag and genre for $5. See their website for details.

Please wear a mask when you come. Donations brought on that day will be put out the following week.
