Reuse:

  • All types of plastic, ceramic and terra cotta pots and trays – Leave at 4615 New Sweden Av NE, Bainbridge Island, in the collection bin at the farm stand or right by the driveway gate.

At the Bainbridge Farmers’ Market, Saturday, 10am-2pm, April-October:

  • Persephone Farms takes 4″ square pots (plus rubber bands, 1-quart clean #5 clear or white plastic containers, paper grocery bags with or without handle, green molded or plastic berry baskets, and plastic bags that produce come in)
  • Butler Farms takes 1 & 2 gallon pots (and paper egg cartons)

Nurseries:

  • Bay Hay and Feed – 10-gallon or larger pots  and plant trays in reusable condition.  See manager before dropping off.
  • Bainbridge Gardens –  2-gallon or larger pots and plant trays in reusable condition.  See manager before dropping off.

Recycle:

Lowe’s – Suspended during Covid, but the public may come in and take pots that others still leave. All pots and trays – drop off in garden section.
