Connecting People to Places

Getting where you are going with a light footprint is a vital element of a sustainable community. Bainbridge GreenWays is a program of Sustainable Bainbridge focused on promoting and advocating for sustainable transportation modes on the island.

Mission

To help envision, create and support use of an enhanced network of trails, paths, routes and facilities to make biking and walking safe, attractive, and convenient for all across Bainbridge Island.

Vision

We envision Bainbridge Island as having an interconnected network of safe routes for walking and biking for people of all ages and abilities. The network will enable people to use their daily journeys to become more physically and mentally healthy, reduce their contributions to climate change, connect more fully with their neighbors, and enjoy the loveliness of this place.
